Motorised Mechanisms

Concealed movement controls the cinema environment

Allow cinema performance to sit comfortably within complex living spaces and highly considered interiors. They make it possible for projection, displays, and architectural elements to appear only when needed and disappear when not in use, so the room keeps its everyday character. These solutions are specified when ceiling heights, wall construction, or spatial intent make fixed installations inappropriate.

PROJECTOR HINGE MECHANISM (PH)

The Projector Hinge mechanism is a specialist solution for home cinema projectors, designed for projects where ceiling mounting is not possible or ceiling height is limited.

The mechanism conceals the projector within the wall, preserving a clean architectural finish with quiet movement and managed cabling.

Key Features
• Quiet, smooth action
• Discreet look and finish
• Full cable management
• Onboard electronics
• Universal projector mounting grid

PROJECTOR DROP (PD)

The Projector Drop mechanism is a widely adopted automated projector lift for home entertainment installations. The projector deploys into the correct viewing position and retracts when not in use, working with Room Control so the projector and screen operate as part of a unified cinema sequence.

• Various drop distances available to suit varying ceiling heights
• Standard and custom sizing available
• Universal projector mounting

MOTORISED MOVING PANEL MECHANISM (MPM)

The MPM is a motorised moving panel mechanism designed to slide a single panel horizontally, creating a pocket door or sliding partition. It is fully concealed within the wall or ceiling to maintain a clean architectural finish, with soft open and close movement for controlled operation.

The mechanism operates through the wider room control system, with anti-trap protection and quiet variable-speed motion for safer, more refined movement.

Future Automation

Future Automation is an internationally established engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of mechanisms that conceal and reveal displays within integrated environments. Their product range is developed to combine functionality with engineering precision and discreet visual integration.

These mechanisms can be coordinated through a smart home system, allowing displays, panels and projector systems to respond automatically when the cinema is activated, forming part of a unified system behaviour.
