SMART HOME MAINTENANCE BY MODUS

Audio-visual maintenance and home automation aftercare continue long after project completion, so systems can remain dependable and easy to use over time. Modus Vivendi provides planned preventative and reactive maintenance, carried out with discretion and minimal disruption. Even where a system was installed by another provider, we can maintain it and advise on suitable upgrades or adjustments where required.

Where appropriate, off-site support and remote monitoring can also be introduced through secure remote access. Monitoring devices can report faults or irregular behaviour back to the support team, allowing potential issues to be identified early and, in some cases, resolved before they become apparent to the client.

SYSTEM HEALTH CHECKS AND REACTIVE SUPPORT

Throughout the year, time can be allocated to carry out a full system health check. In some cases this may involve practical servicing, such as cleaning cooling fans or replacing expired batteries. Where further support is required, Modus Vivendi typically begins with remote diagnostics and troubleshooting, followed by an on-site visit for further investigation or rectification.

SYSTEM OPTIMISATION

As the home evolves, rooms may be repurposed and system behaviour may need to change. This can require reprogramming, updated control logic, revised lighting scenes or new equipment integration.

Modus Vivendi can review the existing system design and make controlled adjustments across Control4, Crestron Home, Lutron, Rako and associated integrated technologies already present within the property. This keeps changes aligned with the wider system, rather than treated as isolated device updates.
