SMART HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEMS SURREY

Modus Vivendi specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of smart home automation systems across Surrey. We deliver integrated solutions for private homeowners, developers, architects, interior designers, and consultants, ensuring each system is designed as a coordinated whole rather than a collection of individual technologies.

Our approach brings together audio, video, security systems, heating and cooling, and lighting and shade control into a single interface. This removes the need for multiple remotes or disconnected controls, replacing them with a unified system accessible via touch panels or mobile devices.

With extensive experience delivering smart home systems throughout Surrey, we design solutions that respond to how each property is used, while maintaining a clear pathway for future expansion. Clients are guided through system operation to ensure long-term usability and control.

We regularly deliver projects across Surrey, including Oxshott, Virginia Water, Weybridge, Cobham, Kingswood, Farnham, Walton-on-Thames, and Reigate.

TAILORED HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEMS IN SURREY

System behaviour can be adapted to each specific location in Surrey. This includes automated responses to daylight conditions, occupancy, and daily routines.

Lighting, shading, and environmental systems are coordinated to respond dynamically, ensuring the home operates as a single system rather than isolated functions.

INTELLIGENT LIGHTING IN SURREY

Integrated lighting and shade control allows precise control over atmosphere, comfort, and security.

Lighting scenes and automated schedules can adjust throughout the day, while shading systems respond to natural light conditions. Systems can also simulate occupancy when the property is unoccupied, supporting security.

Control is available through keypads, mobile applications, and system interfaces, ensuring consistent access across the property.

DESIGN & INSTALLATION: INTELLIGENT LIGHTING IN SURREY

Smart lighting design requires coordination with architectural and interior conditions. Large glazed surfaces, common in Surrey properties, introduce variable light levels that must be managed through integrated shading systems.

Where cabling infrastructure is limited, wireless solutions can be retrofitted and incorporated into a central control system. This ensures both new-build and existing properties can achieve consistent system behaviour.

This depends on stable Wi-Fi & Networking and coordinated system infrastructure.

Keypads, finishes, and wall plates are selected to align with the interior design, maintaining visual consistency throughout the home.

SHADE CONTROL IN SURREY

A fully integrated lighting and shading system includes functions such as centralised “all on” and “all off” control, scene-based lighting, colour adjustment, and automated blind positioning.

Once integrated into a smart home system, these controls can be accessed both within the property and remotely, ensuring consistent behaviour regardless of location.

MULTI-ROOM AUDIO IN SURREY

Multi-room audio systems distribute sound across multiple zones, allowing independent or synchronised playback throughout the property.

Equipment is centrally located to reduce visual impact, preserving the aesthetic of each space while maintaining system performance.

Audio systems can extend to external areas, supporting outdoor environments and entertaining spaces.

MULTI-ROOM AUDIO SYSTEM CONTROL

System control enables browsing and selecting audio via touch panels, mobile devices, or voice interaction. Integration with lighting systems allows combined scenes, where audio and lighting respond together.

This coordination ensures consistent behaviour across all environments within the home.

ENTERTAINMENT & LIFESTYLE SPACES

We design systems for bars, party rooms, and entertainment spaces within Surrey properties, delivering performance aligned to the requirements of each environment.

Systems are engineered to match spatial conditions, ensuring clarity, balance, and reliability while maintaining integration with the wider home system.
